I also learned how to adjust the brightness and contrast of an image to make an image seem better.
The objective of this assignment was to take multiple pictures of a scene and then use photoshop to make one large panoramic image. These are my five panoramic images. In doing this assignment, I learned how to merge multiple photos together to make a large panoramic image. I also got more comfortable with taking pictures in manual mode.
This week, I decided to take pictures of still life. It took me a while to set up the pictures in a way that they were in the correct lighting and that i got the shot I wanted. Specifically, getting the Relax picture was a challenge because the light kept reflecting off the pieces and blinding the camera.
The objective of this assignment was to take a picture of the school and then alter it using photoshop while trying to make it look as real as possible. This week, I decided to take pictures of the nature i find around my house. This is the best picture I took. Aperture: 1/7.1 Shutter Speed: 1/250 ISO: 100 These are the next best five pictures I took. In doing this assignment, I learned the value of lighting. I took images at various times in the day to see the difference and found that pictures of flowers look better when the light is directly on them. This shows off the natural vibrant colors of the flowers. Also, I learned that it can be challenging getting your desired subject into focus. I tried taking some of the pictures in manual mode, and I had to adjust the aperture a lot so that the flowers would be in focus and the background would be blurry.
The objective of this assignment was to photoshop a car to make it as similar as possible to the demo photoshop. This was done by using the crop, clone stamp, selection, levels, and layers tools. This is the original picture: And this is the photoshopped image: In doing this assignment, I learned about the clone stamp and selection tools while continuing to get better at using the crop, levels, and layers tool. These tools seem to be very useful because they allow you to remove unwanted spots or small objects from the picture. I believe we will be using these tools often in future assignments.

Doing this assignment, I learned how to use shutter speed and aperture more effectively. I used both fast and slow shutter speed in different images and found that higher shutter speeds worked better for this assignment. I also experimented with my camera in manual, even though I still ended up using auto for most of my pictures.
